Tomas Rosicky’s son scored the final goal as the former Arsenal star brought the curtain down on a stellar playing career with a farewell friendly in Prague.

To celebrate the conclusion of an incredible 19-year professional career, Rosicky invited family, friends, and former teammates. His Czech XI played a World XI at the same time.

The former Gunners Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Bacary Sagna, and Gael Clichy were among Rosicky’s colleagues at the Emirates who formed the World XI.

The home team won 5-2 when Rosicky Sr. scored the fifth goal, bringing up his small son in the process.

Rosicky had earlier seen a penalty saved by Jens Lehmann and after the game told Arsenal’s official website: “I was actually expecting Jens to save my son’s shot too! I’m glad he showed his human side as well.”

He added: “Obviously it’s very emotional. It was great, I have to say, that I could share this moment with all the guys who came to play in the game and be here with me, so I have to say thank you to everyone who came here and made this occasion very special.
